Story Consults - $60 for 1 Hour
Whether you’re in the early stages of brainstorming or looking to hash through a sticky plot point, sometimes you just need an experienced sounding board. I’d love to be that for you! Between my own writing and publishing journey, undergraduate and graduate coursework in creative writing, and coaching training, I bring a breadth and depth of knowledge to helping you make your story the best it can be.
Character Tarot - $35 for 30 minutes
Tarot readings are a fun and insightful way to tune into your intuition and look at life’s questions with a fresh eye. They can do the same for your characters! We’ll do a traditional ten-card spread with your character’s challenges and choices at the center. It’s a great creative reset! (I also offer personal readings at the same rate.)
Coaching - $60 for 1 Hour, Package Discounts Available
As a Master Certified Life Coach, I offer clients one-on-one coaching services that include tapping into creativity, building confidence, establishing a consistent writing practice, overcoming imposter syndrome, and developing accountability.

Developmental Editing - $500 and Up
I’ve served as a writing mentor for the GCLS Writing Academy for many years, and I’ve worked with writers at all stages of the process. If you’ve got a working draft and would like constructive feedback, I will read your manuscript and give you just that. The focus will be on character development and plot, though I’ll also comment on basic elements of craft and style. A basic developmental edit will include two to three pages of notes and a 30-minute call to review. (This service may be customized based on the length of your story and the level of feedback you’re looking for.)
Who I Am as a Coach
My bio mentions that I'm a college dean by day. What it doesn't mention is that being a dean (or associate dean, which is what I actually am) is the culmination of more than twenty years of advising college students. It's a career that's allowed me to help thousands of young adults navigate everything from academic struggles to career exploration to finding and pursuing their true passions.
When I joined the queer writing community, it didn’t take long for that side of me to infuse the conversations I had with fellow writers and creatives. Over the last several years, I’ve completed extensive training, earned certifications, and worked with others in a more formal coaching relationship. It has been infinitely rewarding for me and truly transformational for the writers I’ve worked with. I’m thrilled to be able to coach new writiers forging their path and established writers looking to grow and expand in their writing work.
